2008 Football Trip

On Friday 61 children and seven staff members travelled to Adelaide to see Port play Collingwood at Aami Stadium. Students who attended the game were selected on their leadership skills and good behaviour that they had demonstrated in the weeks leading up to the event. What was most satisfying about this fact was all children who wanted to attend were able to do so because they had all reached the required expectations. I believe this is a tremendous reflection of the current level of behaviour demonstrated by the students at Berri Primary School this year. The staff at Berri Primary School set very high expectations with regard to behaviour, leadership and participation and it’s great to see students of this school being able to rise to the challenge.

Everyone had a great time and in particular I would like to thank Tom Trifonoff, Susanna Makris, Sara Ormsby, Karyn Clarke, Joe Hermanson and Kym Werner for giving up a large part of their weekend to make this event possible for our students.
