Our oval was a hive of activity as young students showed their style

Junior Primary classes enjoyed the sunshine as they participated in a cricket clinic at Berri Primary School ovals.

The presenters talked to the students, showed them how to move from station to station, batting, bowling and keeping personal score of points gained.

Zoe "It was fun, and we got milo and a poster for parents to sign for more cricket coaching."

Sarah "The cricket was really fun, because we got to do silly things at the start fof each station, which gave us points. I put my tongue out and got 100 million points."

Peter "The cricket was fun because we got to run around to the other games."

Kira "My favourite thing about the cricket was when we ran around and went to the next activity. My favourite was hitting the cone down with the bat."

Jordan "The cricket was fun because we had to get the ball and throw it at the cone. When I threw my ball it hit the cone and the cone flew up in the air and back down to the ground."

Jemma "I was running around at the cricket clinic. I was good at holding the bat and throwing the ball."

Shane "I loved running around. We started again at having shots. There were 3 in a line, had a turn, then started again.

Layton "I liked the cricket clinic when there were stumps, and we had a ball and tried to knock the stumps over." I did good because the stumps were standing over, then I threw the ball and one of the stumps went flying out. That was worth 500 points."
