SRC students attended the Berri Anzac Service

Fifteen SRC students accompanied Principal Mrs Howie and School Counsellor Mrs Castle, to the Berri Anzac March and Service.

The students joined in the March and lead in the Call to Worship reading the Call to Worship during the service, as well as laying a wreath on behalf of the Berri School Community.

When we returned, each child provided some comment on their experience. We hope this helps you to see the ceremony through the children's eyes.

Micaela "Anzac is about people who fought in the war."
Ashley K "My Great Grandpa went to World War 2 and survived."
Georgia "My great Poppa was in the war too."
Anthony "I saw some soldiers with machine guns. They
are going to protect us."

Ashley S and Tiffany "I felt happy because I could go."

Jason "Anzac is celebrated on the 25th of April."
Nicola "Our students were standing nicely and and not talking to
show our RESPECT."

to signal all is finished for the soldier's day."

Primary School."
