Room 22

Welcome to Room 22

This term we have been learning about Australian animals and the people who discovered Australia. We have all been given a brightly coloured A2 piece of paper and on them we are expected to do a project on Australian animals. In week 4 we went swimming at the Berri pool. Later on in the year we are going to the Adelaide zoo to sleep there and to see all the animals. Every Monday we get a different homework contract. In  maths we are doing addition, subtraction, multiplication and division. Every Tuesday afternoon we watch B.T.N (Behind The News) and  in Accelerated Literacy we are looking at a novel called “Topsy and Turvy.”

Every morning at 10:30am till recess we go out for 'Be Active' and every Monday afternoon from 2:00pm to 2:30pm we have a lesson with Mrs Castle on “Friendship and Values”. We have also begun “The Premier’s Reading Challenge” and are about to embark on an exciting new  fitness routine, called “The Premier’s Be Active Challenge”.
